Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and supporting their academic and personal development?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentor.

Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only

Salary: Final salary based on experience

As a Learning Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students across both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), working with high and low ability students in small groups, as well as offering support for children with mild additional needs.

As a Learning Mentor, your responsibilities will include:

* Providing tailored support and guidance to students across KS1 and KS2, both academically and pastorally, to help them reach their full potential.

* Working closely with teachers to identify students' individual needs and develop personalised learning plans and interventions to support their progress.

* Conducting small group sessions to provide targeted intervention and support for high and low ability students, focusing on areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.

* Offering one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support for students with mild additional needs, including behavioral difficulties, emotional challenges, or low self-esteem.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

* An Enhanced DBS check to ensure suitability for working with children and vulnerable individuals.

* Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably in a mentoring or support role.

* A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching or education qualification recognised in the UK (desirable but not essential).

* A genuine passion for supporting children's academic and personal development, with a caring and empathetic approach.
