The Role – Learning Mentor
As a Learning Mentor you will be supporting students with additional learning difficulties in the classroom with the core subjects. The role of the Learning Mento is for a dynamic and charismatic support assistant with recent experience working in a primary school with students aged 4-11 years old. As a Learning Mentor you will need to be available for an immediate starting position on a long-term, full-time basis. A requirement for the role is to have an enhanced DBS on the update service the role of the Learning Mentor will be to work across KS2 supporting groups of lower ability students including students with moderate behavioural needs and learning difficulties to support their academic development.

The school is in the London Borough of Newham and caters for students aged 4-11 years old. The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted and is a large form entry 3 primary school. The school is a short walk from the nearest station and has minimal staff parking on site and permit holder only/blue badge bays outside of the school.
