Description:
The Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist & Data Analyst Lead will manage and co-ordinate the development and use of learning platforms in the organization. They will be responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of resources used for instructional functions.
The post holder must have extensive LMS experience at both a detailed and strategic level. You must drive and adhere to best practice, whilst being innovative and collaborative.
The post holder will be expected to provide data analysis and excel learning reports for the business. The role will be expected to provide advanced report writing to meet organisation requirements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Learning Management System:
Manage the various Learning Management Systems (both internal & external) and Instilled LXP platform
Provide and develop roles, security, and enrolment management.
Manage eLearning content from vendors to ensure it is compatible with the LMS.
Work with Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers, and programmers to support eLearning content requirements.
Build Learning modules, exams and evaluations.
Design learning program solutions, testing and implementation.
Run demos of the system and provide training to individuals and users groups In conjunction with the Instructional Designer, document all LMS configurations, procedures, and workflow diagrams.
Give individual or group instruction to users or decide for instruction of software or systems
Configure system hardware and software, and provide technical assistance.
Provides immediate response to problems and emergency situations affecting normal operations.
Research and resolve LMS functionality issues.
Solve Level 3 technical problems; investigate and seek solutions to complex issues, and perform onsite installation or replacement of various hardware and software for LMS.
Assist in determining hardware, software needs and upgrades.
Reviews and improves system operations practices.
Performs capacity planning for data storage and performance.
Reviews systems performance proactively.
Works closely with appropriate external vendors to ensure efficient functionality of resources.
Learning Creation:
To build, develop, maintain and operate various technologies used in the delivery of instructional and/or interactive programs and courses
Facilitate live and recorded learning Raw video editing and enhancing using Adobe Premiere Pro program and iMovie
Actively contribute to and comply with the governance and quality assurance processes of Learning Management Systems & Instilled LXP
Data Analysis:
Build, analyse and maintain critical reports for the Learning academy including adhoc reports, compliance reports, CQC reports, RESUS modules reports and various on demand reports.
Manipulate and analyse large data sets to distil insights from data and convey findings to executive stakeholders and department managers.
Collaborate with the Clinical informatics team to simplify the reporting process and reduce manual data cleansing.
Regularly review data integrity to reduce data anomalies which makes our data useful, reliable, and accessible for our internal stakeholders.
Provide the compliance CQC modules source data for the senior management team
Dashboard reports.
Producing data sets and presentations to demonstrate delivery against our objectives.
Guiding and supporting colleagues to improve compliance score and occupational training.
Communicate and consult with key stakeholders to understand reporting requirements in order to improve staff compliance score
Organise and deliver compliance report sessions for department managers explaining compliance report structure and usability to achieve higher training scores
Contribute to the analysis, monitoring and evaluation of the internal and external factors that influence the performance of the Learning Academy Team to determine the needs of the many differing customers
Experience and Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of tools such as HTML, Macromedia Flash, streaming audio, video, compression methods, file types and formats
Must be enterprising, diplomatic and proactive at solving problems
High level of problem solving skills.
Ability to interpret system needs and construct system processes
Proven ability to continually adapt and learn new procedures and software programs
Knowledge of Web based instruction
Extensive knowledge of information architecture principles and methods
Knowledge of Learning Management System administration
Experience with a Learning Management System as a developer or administrator – mandatory
Experience that is directly related to systems support and to the duties and responsibilities specified – mandatory
Experience with HTML and audio and video editing software – preferred
