Learning Support Assistant – September Start

Location: Sheffield & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £95 – £110 per day
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time & Part-time Opportunities

TeacherActive is looking for caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of welcoming schools from September. We have opportunities available for candidates looking for day-to-day flexibility, short-term work or long-term placements.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may require additional support with their learning, communication, behaviour or social and emotional development. You'll play an important role in helping pupils build their confidence, independence and engagement with education.

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting children or young people

Learning Support/Teaching Assistant experience desirable

Experience with SEND, SEMH, Autism or additional needs beneficial

Confident providing 1:1 and small-group support

Patient, caring and resilient approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to adapt support to individual pupil needs

Passion for helping young people reach their potential
