Hebburn with travel across the North East (Mileage expensed)
£27,000- £31,000 dependant on experience
Pertemps are thrilled to be working with a dynamic education provider dedicated to empowering individuals with practical skills and knowledge in various fields. We are looking for a Trainer to join the team, initially working within Bootcamps with a view to move into Apprenticeships. Their bootcamps are designed to deliver intensive, hands-on learning experiences that prepare participants for real-world challenges. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Lean Manufacturing Tutor to join the team.
As a Lean Manufacturing Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality training to bootcamp participants. Your expertise in lean manufacturing principles, tools, and techniques will be instrumental in guiding participants through practical, real-world applications. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teaching, has a deep understanding of lean manufacturing, and is enthusiastic about helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on curriculum and lesson plans for Lean Manufacturing bootcamps.
Conduct interactive and practical training sessions, workshops, and activities.
Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to bootcamp participants.
Assess participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with the program team to continuously improve the bootcamp experience.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in lean manufacturing.
Requirements:
Qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing.
Proven experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in a professional setting is highly desirable however training can be provided.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, tools, and techniques (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
