Owing to their success and growth, as well as significant investment, they are currently seeking a Lead Engine Developer to join their innovation department.
This role presents a unique blend of being part of a dynamic and talented team working on a successful product and also contributing to Research and Development activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the development of a new geospatial data platform using Unreal Engine.
* Guiding and mentoring a team of developers, establishing departmental processes, and promoting best practices.
* Addressing issues affecting team performance and facilitating resolutions.
* Implementing tactics and tools to achieve business objectives.
* Managing team delivery and supporting product/ project management cycles.
Requirements
* Extensive experience using Unreal Engine, with proficiency in Blueprints and C++.
* Knowledge of version control solutions and software architecture principles.
* Understanding of integrations with external systems and automated data import pipelines.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Agility in prioritising requirements and problem-solving.
