Position: Lead Solution Architect
Rate - £850 - £950pd (Inside IR35)
Location - Hybrid (Corsham, Bristol, London, Home)
We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect to take on a 10 month contract, delivering complex architecture in to a high profile Defence programme.
Responsibilities:
Act as the technical lead for the programme on behalf of the Authority.
Take ownership and drive elements of the programme forward proactively.
Provide architectural leadership and definition.
Define and deliver ITNs (Invitation to Negotiate) through to tender award.
Identify and develop solutions aligned with programme objectives.
Define and manage requirements effectively.
Demonstrate a detailed understanding of architecture approaches within the MoD.
Cover both the Secure (S) and Assured (AS) domains.
Utilisation of ArchiMate for architectural modelling.
Produce technical ITN schedules and supporting documentation.
Address ITN queries including Contractual Questions (CQs).
Oversee the technical assessment process within the ITN.
Ensure all bids comply with required technical and architectural standards.
Supervise the ongoing development of selected technical work strands such as Telicent Core and CTF drafting.Requirements:
Prior experience in a comparable role in Defence, preferably within Defence Digital.
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of architectural leadership, ITN definition, solution identification and development, and requirements management.
Familiarity with architecture approaches in the MoD, including both S and AS domains.
Proficiency in ArchiMate.
Willingness to travel regularly to Bristol, Corsham, and London.
The Lead Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical aspects of the ODYSSEY programme, requiring a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and experience in Defence contexts. DV clearance will be required prior to work starting, and the ability to travel to key locations for program coordination and oversight is essential.
