Description:

Stroud Resourcing is recruiting for a Lead Scrub Practitioner (RGN/ODP) to join a welcoming and collaborative private hospital based in Nottingham. This is a full-time role offering a salary of up to £46,000 and an excellent benefits package.

It’s an exciting time to be joining this hospital, following significant investment they’ve recently refurbished their inpatient facilities, extended their cardiac services and refreshed communal areas. They also have further plans to refurbish their pharmacy department, purchase new imaging equipment and expand their robotic surgery services.
 
In this Lead Scrub Practitioner role, you can expect to:

Provide visible clinical, professional, and managerial leadership to the Scrub team (across General, Gynaecology & Robotic Surgery), promoting a positive approach and cohesive teamwork.
Working closely with the Theatre Manager you will support the growth of the General, Gynaecology & Robotics surgical services within the hospital.
You will be responsible for the preparation of operating theatres & suites, ensuring all necessary and emergency equipment is available and in working order.To apply for this Scrub Team Leader role, you must be a qualified RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience as a Lead Theatre Practitioner. We also welcome applications from experienced Senior Theatre Practitioners looking to step up into a management role. Experience working within General and Genecology scrub is essential, experience working within Robotics is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided). To achieve the top end of the salary you must have completed your Surgical First Assistant (SFA) qualification, if you have not completed this then you must have the desire to do so.
