As the Lead Python Developer for this team, you will be overseeing a team of developers who are working with some of the UK’s best known brands to ensure their data is being handled in the best most efficient way. You will be taking complex datasets consisting of thousands of rows and columns of data, and working alongside the frontend team, you will help support them with the data they need to produce custom react based components from scratch that are able to render this data efficiently without compromising on performance. In this role you will have direct access to key stakeholders and C-level members, giving you the support and ability to grow and really be the master of your own destiny.
The ideal Lead Python Developer has:
·5 years plus of experience developing using Python/Django
·Familirarity with building Restful API’s
·Strong experience with relational databases (Ideally PostgreSQL on AWS)
·1-2 years experience leading small teams of developers.
·Excellent communication skills, from the team to board level.
·Educated to degree level, ideally in Computer Science.
·Experience handling applications which render large volumes of data for a user-facing applications.
