Location: Barnet, London (Hybrid Working - 2 days in the office)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Barnet Council is seeking a dynamic and skilled Lead Practitioner to join our Adults Locality Team. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management: Lead and inspire a team of social workers and care professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of excellent services.
Case Management: Oversee complex cases, ensuring assessments, care planning, and reviews are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
Professional Development: Promote continuous professional development within the team, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
Safeguarding: Ensure robust safeguarding practices are in place, prioritizing the safety and well-being of adults in our care.

Essential Criteria:

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Extensive experience in adult social care, including managing complex cases.
Proven leadership and supervisory experience within a social care setting.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in adult social care.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
