Lead Planner West London
Our client based in London has an immediate requirement to recruit a Lead Planner to be accountable for a large Data Centre Project.
You will be using your knowledge of P6 & MS Project and leadership experience to deliver all aspects of planning, phasing, programming and sequencing for the tendering activity, including the coordination of design, commercial and production activities.
Responsibilities
* Take a leadership role within the team
* Pro-actively deliver project planning from launch to successful completion
* Develop design and build programmes using P6 & MS Project
* Ensure programmes comply with planning standards and client requirements.
* Develop and maintain excellent communication relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Provide regular feedback and reports on the status of the projects including early warnings and change management programme updates
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years performing in a lead role within the construction industry
* Commercial experience delivering Data centre, Pharma or Industrial projects
* Proven experience working on roles within the mechanical sector
* P6 & MS Project experience
* Excellent understanding and appreciation for construction activities, timescales, and project requirements
* Ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently
* A proactive and solution focussed approach
* Excellent IT skills
