Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and creative Lead Photographer to join their thriving Head Office team in Plymouth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded photography professional to take ownership of a busy in-house studio, leading a talented team and producing high-quality visual content across eCommerce, digital marketing, social media, advertising and promotional campaigns.

The Role
As Lead Photographer, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy photography studio, ensuring the delivery of engaging, brand-focused imagery that drives customer engagement and supports commercial objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll combine creative expertise with operational management, working closely with internal stakeholders to bring products, campaigns and brand messaging to life through exceptional visual content.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the photography studio.
Plan and deliver creative product and lifestyle shoots.
Design and implement lighting setups, styling concepts, set construction and equipment requirements.
Ensure all photography is aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Collaborate with Marketing, Buying, Design, Product and Social Media teams to develop creative concepts and campaign imagery.
Manage studio workflows, schedules and project priorities to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Provide leadership, guidance and support to the photography team.
Monitor and maintain studio equipment, cameras, lighting systems and production resources.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure best practices are followed across all studio operations.
Keep up to date with emerging photography, content and retail visual trends.

About YouWe're looking for a creative leader who can inspire a team while delivering outstanding commercial photography.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience within a commercial retail photography environment.
Experience leading or managing a photography studio and creative team.
Strong knowledge of eCommerce, retail and marketing photography.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced business environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
A thorough understanding of industry best practices and emerging visual content trends.
A creative eye combined with a strong commercial focus.
