Description:

Our client, one of the leading global engineering companies supporting the transition to cleaner energy, has an opportunity for a Lead Payroll Specialist to join their team in central London

The main purpose of the role is to ensure payroll is processed in accordance with the established payroll calendar.

Also responsible for all periodic payroll activities including regulatory filings, contribution to management reporting, the establishment of the payroll calendar in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders and year end closing activities.

Provide support on HRSD activities.

Main responsibilities:

×          Ensures that all payroll transactions and updates are processed correctly, completely, efficiently and timely in line with defined payroll calendars

×          Ensures the  accuracy of payroll  reports before the authorization take place.

×          Conducts pre- and post-payroll validations including technical validations as well as validations on entries and processing based on payroll best practices.

×          Reviews and verifies source documents and investment schemes pay out. Completes requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications

×          Coordinates payment processes to employees, governmental institutions, social security providers and external funds.

×          Ensures Payment of End of Service Benefits and Cash Advances

×          Adheres to the very strict data confidentiality policies and requirements applicable to the payroll function in addition to Statutory and legislation compliance

×          Facilitates internal & external audits by providing records and documentation to auditors

×          Collaborates with members in the team and from other units to ensure a seamless end-to-end process

×          Updates payroll structures in accordance with corporate and governmental requirements

×          Works closely with vendor and Mobility team on payments for globally mobilized employees. Understanding of tax equalization payments/credits and hypo tax calculations. 

×          Ensures post-payroll validations, reconciliation of the payrolls, coordinating with finance, and HR administration

×          Provides expertise to support global projects

×          Ensures that data entries and records are accurate and up to date

×          Assist with employee queries, attendance and leave management an benefit management as required

Requirements:

×          Proven experience in payroll execution in a multi-national environment.

×          Proficient in payroll software systems and MS Office

×          Performing calculations in a deadline driven environment

×          Thorough attention to detail

×          Strong customer/employee service-oriented mind-set

×          Proactivity and effective priotization and multitasking under time pressure

×          Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

×          Proactive attitude and always strive for continuous improvement

×          Team Management skills

×          Excellent time management skills.

×          Keeping abreast about legal legislation changes and ensure that activities managed are aligned with compliance
