Location: Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18

Salary: £15.50p/h

Hours: 12-hour shifts, 19:00PM - 07:00AM Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Operator to join their dynamic production team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires a strong background in both leadership and machine-based production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and work with the team of production operatives to achieve daily targets and maintain high standards of quality.
Manage the workflow and allocate tasks to ensure optimal productivity.
Operate and oversee the maintenance of machinery, ensuring all equipment is used safely and efficiently.
Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Maintain accurate records of production activities and prepare reports as required.
Requirements:

Proven experience in a production environment, with specific expertise in letter-based and machine-based processes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Good understanding of health and safety practices in a production setting.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, and to work every other weekend.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
