As a Lead Nurse, you will:

Oversee the clinical and care needs of all patients.
Support the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and nurses in meeting individual patient needs.
Stay updated on national guidance and best practices.
Lead by example and provide guidance and support in team development and education.
Focus on proactive clinical risk assessments, nursing assessments, and quality improvement measures.
Ensure a positive culture where each service user’s individual needs are respected and met with care.Package and Benefits:

The Lead Nurse role offers a comprehensive package:

Annual salary of up to £50,000, inclusive of a £5,400 living allowance.
Full-time, permanent position with 37.5 hours per week.
Training opportunities to support skill and expertise development.
Career progression into clinical specialist roles or managerial positions.
25 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays with length of service

Enhanced maternity payThe ideal Lead Nurse candidate will have:

Registration as a Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse (RMN or RNLD) on a relevant part of the NMC register.
Specialist training in a relevant clinical skill such as DBT/CBT.
At least 3 years’ experience working within multidisciplinary teams in relevant clinical settings.
Self-assurance in clinical leadership and experience in leading service development projects.
Exceptional communication skills, tailored to individual strengths and needs.If you have experience or interest in roles such as Senior Nurse, Clinical Nurse Leader, Ward Manager, Nurse Specialist, or Nursing Team Leader, this Lead Nurse position could be the perfect fit for you.
