Description:

Our client in the Portsmouth area is looking to recruit a Lead Multi-Skilled Engineer.

Responsibilities

Manage and support the engineering team
Manage the workload plan, and set priorities for maintenance
Improve and manage all maintenance activities
Work with QCHS to adapt risk assessments for safer practice and efficiency
Breakdowns
Repairs
Fault Finding
Update the status and performance of work accurately and in a timely manner
Manage repair windows
Communicate daily with internal functions

Essential

Manufacturing experience with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical disciplines
Excellent communication
Own Transport
Flexibility for occasional call outs/planned changes in the work pattern
A mind-set of continuous improvement
Understand manufacturing needs (efficiencies, quality & budgets)
Understands Health & Safety management

Hours:

Days with the flexibility and ability to manage start/finish times depending on the needs of the business
