Description:
Our client, a leading technology company, is currently seeking a Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position based in Merseyside, where you will be working full-time on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the manufacturing process engineering activities
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards
Participate in product development projects and provide input on design for manufacturability
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process failures
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies
Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives
Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for optimization
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements
