Are you a Lead Maintenance Engineer, Senior Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Team Leader looking to stay hands-on while stepping into a role with real progression and development as a growing manufacturer continues to invest?

On offer is a secure, permanent position within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you'll take the lead on planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electro-mechanical machinery, while mentoring one engineer and working closely with the Manufacturing Manager to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

This company is a well-established manufacturer and service provider, supplying major UK retailers. Following significant investment into their facilities and continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their engineering function with a lead engineer who can take ownership and develop with the business long term.

In this role you will carry out fault finding and repairs on PLC-controlled systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley), motor control circuits, VSDs, sensors and three-phase power, alongside mechanical maintenance on gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulics. The role is predominantly site-based with occasional travel to two other sites using pool vehicles. Hours are 07:30-16:00 day shift.

This role would suit a multiskilled maintenance engineer / Senior engineer from a manufacturing / production background, who is confident leading by example and wants long-term development, progression and increased responsibility while staying hands-on.

The Role:

Lead hands-on maintenance across a high-volume manufacturing site (PPMs, reactive breakdowns, fault finding and repairs)
Electrical fault finding on PLC-controlled systems, VSDs, motor control circuits, sensors and three-phase power
Mechanical maintenance on gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulics
Mentor / supervise one engineer and support day-to-day prioritisation with the Manufacturing Manager
The Person:

Multi skilled maintenance background within manufacturing / production / industrial environments
Previous lead / supervisory experience
Reference Number: BBBH(phone number removed)
