This nationwide, multidisciplinary environmental, engineering consultancy are seeking a Lead Driller with extensive ground investigation experience to join a national team of geotechnical engineers and drillers on a variety of projects across the UK. Opportunities to lead a team.This Lead Driller selected will be:
Working on a range of geotechnical drilling rigs.
Depending on experience, leading a team and contributing to project development.
Specialising in either cable percussion, window sampling and rotary drilling rigs.
Manging onsite drilling operations, developing log sheets.
At time, helping with soil sampling, in-situ testing, monitoring equipment, ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to.
The supervision and training of more junior team members will also be required.As a result, Lead Drillers considered must:
Have experience working on cable percussion or rotary geotechnical drilling rigs.
Have experience working on geotechnical and ground investigation projects.
Be willing to travel for work around the country, staying away for periods of time and commute long distances.
