PHP Lead Engineer – PHP, Symfony/Doctrine, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, TDD, Remote
Salary - £80,000
Working for a research and date insights company in a B2B SaaS environment. They are looking an established PHP Lead developer with good architectural experience who will be able to lead the technical direction of the platforms.
You will be expected to mentor the other developers (no people management) sharing ideas and challenging perspectives to be able to make the right products using the right tools for the tasks in hand.
Primarily working in a brownfield technical environment, they will expect you to bring in best engineering practices, be immersed in unit and end to end testing and have convincing opinions in using best in class tools for the right purpose.
Requirements:
· Extensive experience using PHP and its frameworks such as Symfony/Doctrine/Slim.
· Must have experience in Unit Testing and TDD
· Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment is a must.
· Strong knowledge of AWS cloud.
· Experience in PostgreSQL
· Knowledge with Docker
