Lead Data Analyst - £67,500 - London (Hybrid)

My client, a forward thinking, leading public service provider are on the lookout for two new Lead Data Analysts to come and join their existing team in senior roles. These positions will play a pivotal role in shaping our data analytics strategy and driving insights that inform key business decisions. You will lead a team of analysts (up to 20 members), collaborating closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business objectives and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

This role will be based from my clients London office (N1 postcode) and would require office travel twice per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of data analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and development.
Oversee the end-to-end process of data analysis, from data collection and cleansing to interpretation and presentation of insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable analytical tasks.
Develop and implement advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights and drive business value.
Utilise statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities within large datasets.
Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

Significant demonstratable experience in Data Analytics, with experience leading a team of at least 5/6 members.
Experience with the likes of SQL, SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle
Visualisation tools like Qliksense & Power BI
Programming languages - Python & R
Azure platforms (beneficial)
Experience managing senior stakeholders and end-to-end projects
QGIS or ArcGIS (beneficial)
