Lead Cradle Operative/Supervisor
Pay rate: £160 per day
Hours: 07:00 – 16:30
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Contract: 6-12 months
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Cradle Operative / Supervisor to support a major façade restoration project in Canary Wharf.
This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to combine practical site work with team leadership responsibilities on a high-profile development.
The Role
As Lead Cradle Operative / Supervisor, you will take a key role in overseeing site activities while remaining actively involved in the work. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and supervising cradle (BMU) teams on site
* Carrying out façade cleaning and restoration works
* Supporting the training and development of operatives
* Assisting with workflow management and coordination
* Ensuring high standards of health & safety and quality control
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Strong experience working with BMU / cradle systems
* Confident working at height
* Experience leading small teams
* Good English communication skills
* SAEMA certification (preferred)
This role is ideally suited to an experienced operative looking to step into a leadership role with long-term work on a prestigious London project.
