Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading management consultancy across the UK Nuclear industry to recruit an experienced Lead Consultant for the management and delivery of a variety of Defence Nuclear projects in Basingstoke. Working as the Lead Consultant, you will lead programme delivery and business growth, making a real impact on key infrastructure in the UK.
The Lead Consultant role comes with a salary of £60,000 - £85,000 dependant on experience as well as a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Senior Management Team you will:
Work on a consultancy basis delivering projects, managing client relationships and developing business opportunities.
Contribute to the creation and development of a 5-case business case.
Engage with and influence all levels of Stakeholder.
Be responsible for financial approvals and engage with HM Treasury and Scrutiny.
Work to government guidelines including HMT Green and Aqua Books.
Look to offer solutions and ideas for improvement where challenges arise.
Any other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
DV Clearence is essential for this role and must be current
Experience engaging with HM Treasury and scrutiny
Experience working to HMT Green and Aqua Books
Personal skills
The Lead Consultant role would suit someone who is:
Experience in building relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Ability to identify and deliver on business development opportunities.
A continuous improvement mindset, he ability to review processes and procedures and add value.
