LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join a local housing association with roots firmly fixed in Grimsby and Boston. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, offering a salary of £45,165, complete flexibility of working hours and location (AGILE) along with many other great perks.

The Lead Business Analyst role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract that we are wanting to commence as soon as possible with an ideal deadline being no later than September.

Job description

As a Lead Business Analyst you will be responsible for co-designing an optimised and modern digital customer experience specification and delivery plan across all three transformation workstreams of digital, data and technology.

A critical part of this role involves liaising closely with a variety of stakeholders, business teams and service leads and being able to confidently influence a customer-centered design outcome
You will be required to carry out a combination of process analysis, requirements gathering, wireframing and working with developers, engineers and technical architects to translate requirements into solutions.
Proactively discover and fully understand the 'as is' business processes and map out potential improvements with stakeholders.
Confidently challenge business requirements to ensure they champion customer experience, improve business efficiency and mobile first digital functionality.
Translate functional requirements for customers and colleagues into clear, accurate and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria that can be used to develop, test and measure success against.
Proactively participate in promoting the programme board activities across the organisation, delivering training where required and promoting best practices.
Ensure openness and collaboration in the digital work of the programme board and be transparent with the outputs and conclusions produced to maintain high levels of trust and engagement in your work.
Partner with the corporate communication team to regularly communicate the work of the Business Analyst team.
Responsible for analysing and interpreting different business situations from a variety of viewpoints and finding creative, workable and cost-effective solutions.

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Lead Business Analyst your CV must demonstrate your involvement in, requirement gathering, market assessment/procurement, implementation/testing for Tenant Portal & Repairs Management/Dynamic Scheduling for this role.

You will have a Business Analyst Practitioner or equivalent qualification.
You'll have bags of enthusiasm and a real passion for understanding how an organisation works and gets things done through its people.
You will need experience in Tenant Portal, Repairs Management and Dynamic Scheduling.
Unafraid to challenge and equally comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team as well as by yourself.
Extensive and demonstrable business analysis experience in designing, selecting, implementing optimised digital customer experience focused solutions right through procurement stages.
Extensive experience working in digital transformation programmes where user centred design is a priority.
Extensive experience of running workshops and discovery sessions to efficiently and thoroughly prompt thought, challenge existing ways of working and encourage innovation.
Extensive experience writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, working both with Product Owners and Technical Leads to effectively prioritise work.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, using agile principles and confident promoting these ways of working to others.
Extensive experience and knowledge of using business analysis tools and techniques to understand and demonstrate process and requirements.
Extensive experience and knowledge across a range of digital and collaborative tools like Miro, JIRA and project planning tools.
Experience creating and conducting end-user testing on platforms.
Experience in managing and coaching a team
Extensive understanding of a broad set of IT terms and technologies.
Experience in a similar role supporting users over a multi-site environment.
Extensive experience and ability to quickly grasp understanding of business processes and be able to identify business drivers for success.
Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Builds and maintains strong professional, trusting relationships with business colleagues, senior stakeholders, and IT.
As this will be an agile working role, you'll need to be self-motivated and organised.
Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
