Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced L&D Manager to join our client to manage a vibrant team in a dynamic and forward thinking company. This role is crucial in enhancing the operational efficiency and skills their employees through innovative training initiatives.
Our client is based in Glasgow and supports hybrid working and works 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive operational training programs that improve employee performance and operational effectiveness.
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify training needs and skill gaps within the organisation.
* Create engaging training materials, including hands-on training, simulations, and interactive workshops.
* Provide on-the-job coaching and support to employees to ensure the application of learned skills in real-world scenarios.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of training programs.
* Partner with departmental leaders to ensure training initiatives align with operational goals and business objectives.
* Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in operational training to continuously enhance training programs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
* Proven experience in an Operational Training role, preferably within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong knowledge of operational processes, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in training management systems and other relevant software
