Vehicle Technician – Oldbury
£36,465 – £38,896 Basic Salary | Overtime at 1.25x | Monday to Friday | No Weekends
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm – 42.5 hours per week

Stable, permanent positionVehicle Technician – Role As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a varied commercial vehicle fleet
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
Working across a range of different makes and models
Preparing vehicles for MOT
Ensuring vehicles meet required safety and quality standards
Completing preventative and scheduled maintenance
Accurately recording completed work
Working closely with other technicians and workshop colleagues
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with workshop proceduresVehicle Technician – Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Experience working on LCVs
Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Proactive and organised approach to workload
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a workshop team
Full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licenceThis Vehicle Technician opportunity would particularly suit someone looking to move into a stable commercial fleet environment where they can continue developing technically without sacrificing their weekends.
