Description:
Arthur Rose Recruitment are recruiting for Laser Operator at our clients UK site in Rotherham (South Yorkshire)
Hours: Monday to Fridays (Days, Nights,Afters - 3 shift rotation)
Pay Rate: £15.20 per hour (Weekly pay)
Duties:
* Programming software to cut materials as instructed via standard operation procedures, design drawings/blueprints, work orders, routine sheets.
* Scheduling at a pace in line with Company standards
* Setting and running of the machine.
* Loading/unloading of sheet steel/cut parts (including use of fork lift truck and overhead crane).
* Daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning of the machine
* Maintain throughput through area of production and escalate any issues swiftly to relevant supervisor to minimize downtime.
* Completion of accurate production records
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience of setting and operating laser machines
* Experience of working in lean manufacturing environment
* Ability to understand engineering drawings and bill of materials
* Ability to work well under own supervision
