Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with a stable and respected employer?

We're recruiting a Laser Operator to join a leading manufacturer within the heavy-duty vehicle sector. Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll operate advanced laser cutting machinery to manufacture high-quality metal components to exact specifications.

What You'll Be Doing

Operating laser cutting machines
Reading and interpreting engineering/CAD drawings
Manufacturing components from stainless steel and aluminium
Using measuring equipment including Verniers, callipers and micrometres
Carrying out quality checks and completing production documentation
Performing routine machine maintenance and daily TPM checks
Working to production targets while maintaining high quality standards
What We're Looking For

Previous laser operator experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
Desirable: Experience with laser cutting machinery, particularly Amada, Trumpf or Bystronic systems.

Shift Pattern

Week 1: 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 12:00pm Friday
Week 2: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm to 6:00pm Friday
