Laser Engraver

Description:

This position will be part of our growing Production Department and will specialise in engraving onto our extensive range of promotional merchandise.

What you’ll be doing:

Load and operate the Yag, Fibre and CO2 laser cutting machines to produce personalised products for our customers

Operating Deboss machine

Set up, adjust and operate various types of equipment and perform cleans and checks

Have jobs signed by QC before bulk printing

Reading internal job bags

Comparing set up and artwork to the job bag provided

Checking if stock is correct ie; refill colour, trim, correct amount of stock

Completing job paperwork with details of completed work

Maintaining quality of the first signed off pen

Flagging quality issues to management/QC

Filling in record sheets after completion of job

To ensure your work is checked by QC once job is completed

Flagging ANY faults with machine you operating to management ASAP

Reporting if any part of your job is not prepared/arrived ie stock

Making sure your workstation is tidy. Machine clean and space around it. At all times

Labelling

Stock preparation

Cleaning

Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Production Manager;

Exercise all reasonable care and skill in the performance of your duties and to act faithfully on behalf of, and in the best interests of the company at all times;

The ability to work under pressure, whist maintaining high standards

Be fast and accurate when working to the brief.

Live within 45 minutes of our HQ, Aldershot Hampshire.
