The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Landscaping Site Manager? Our client is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join their team working on a high end commercial or Domestic contract. As a Site Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clients’ project runs smoothly and successfully.

As a Site Manager your responsibilities will include the following:

• Working closely with clients, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop design plans, and establish timelines and budgets for implementation.

• Hiring, training, and supervising landscaping crews and subcontractors. Assigning tasks, managing work schedules, and ensuring that team members have the necessary resources and support to complete their work effectively.

• Procuring materials, equipment, and supplies needed for landscaping projects. Monitoring inventory levels, tracking expenses, and managing budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.

• Overseeing all aspects of landscaping work to ensure that design specifications and quality standards are met. Conducting regular inspections of work sites to identify issues, address any deficiencies, and maintain a high level of craftsmanship.

• Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Providing training on safety procedures and best practices to prevent accidents and minimize risks on-site.

• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of landscaping projects. Providing updates on project progress, addressing client concerns or inquiries, and ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded.

• Anticipating potential challenges or obstacles that may arise during landscaping projects and implementing solutions to overcome them. Resolving issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.

• Managing logistics such as site access, transportation of materials and equipment, and waste disposal. Coordinating with subcontractors, utility companies, and other service providers to ensure smooth project operations.

• Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including work orders, change orders, progress reports, and budget updates. Generating comprehensive project documentation for internal and client review.

• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains within the landscaping department. Implementing best practices and innovative techniques to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a Site Manager who has the following skills and qualifications:

• Full UK Driver’s License is essential

• 3 years in the industry.

• Experience managing Landscaping projects

• Competent Hard and Soft landscaping knowledge

• Willing to work by themselves when required.

• Team player.

• Good knowledge of general health and safety.

• Industry relevant qualifications
