In return, we offer a salary of £33,072 (negotiable), plus Company Car 4x4 (can be used for personal travel), up to 3% Bonus (~ £992), Company Pension, 20 Holiday Days + Bank Holiday, and benefits catalogue.
We'll help you progress and develop yourself further and will support you with creating a development plan to achieve that.
What will I be doing?
As a Site Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of our Landfill facility. Your key tasks will include:
* Ensuring the site runs smoothly and safely, complying with Environmental and Health & Safety laws.
* Managing staff and resources efficiently.
* Promoting recycling and reducing landfill waste.
* Operating and maintaining both fixed and mobile equipment.
* Handling customer queries and complaints promptly.
* Conducting site audits and addressing maintenance issues.
* Managing staff hours for payroll, controlling the site budget, and ordering necessary equipment and resources.
* Providing COTC cover and ensuring the site meets SUEZ and contract standards for performance and safety.
This is a 45 hours contract. (Monday to Friday 7.30 to 5pm)
The site is Clifton Marsh Landfill.
What are the requirements?
* Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
* Willingness to learn and develop to meet the required standards. (COTC certification is required, but we can provide training.)
* Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage staff and resources effectively.
