Job Title - Land-Based Technician
Salary - up to £25,000
Location - Northamptonshire
Contract Type - Permanent

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Land-Based professional to join a quality team and support the delivery of practical learning experiences, helping to inspire the next generation of learners.

Role Responsibilities

Support the delivery of practical learning activities across a range of land-based courses
Maintain and prepare workshops, equipment, tools, machinery, and resources for teaching and learning activities
Ensure land-based facilities, grounds, and practical learning environments are maintained to a high standard
Assist learners and teaching staff during practical sessions, providing technical guidance and support where appropriate
Contribute to the maintenance, servicing, and safe operation of land-based machinery and equipment
Maintain high standards of health and safety, environmental compliance, and quality assurance across all practical areas
Support stock control, ordering of materials, and resource management within the department
Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
Develop relationships with local employers and industry partners to support student learning, work placements, and industry engagement

Essential Requirements

A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Agriculture, Horticulture, Countryside Management, Land-Based Engineering, or a related subject
Extensive industry experience within a land-based environment
Knowledge of health and safety procedures relating to land-based operations and equipment
A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one (desirable)
