Land Manager - Devon
RGB Recruitment is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Land Manager to join a well-established contractor on a permanent basis. Based in the heart of Devon, the Land Manager will oversee all land purchase activity and acquisition of commercial developments locations across the region. Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the land function
Setting budgets, minimizing risks, maximising opportunities
Manage all projects from initial site identification through appraisal and approval to the point of purchase
Liaise with all internal teams and external consultants / authorities as required
Take responsibility for all land purchase activity and maintain the land schedule
Report directly to the director on potential and existing land acquisitions
Requirements:
Proven track record in negotiating land transactions
Strong management skills with the ability to influence
A good understanding of debt and development appraisals
Confident in presenting to key stakeholders
Willing to travel, relevant UK driving licence
