Workshop Labourer Montrose | 12-Month Contract | Major Oilfield Services Client

Our major oilfield services client is looking for a Workshop Labourer to join their busy operation in Montrose on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established workshop environment where you'll play a key role in supporting production teams, maintaining site standards, and ensuring efficient workflow across the facility.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
Overtime Available:
50% uplift Monday to Thursday and first 4 hours Saturday
100% uplift after 4 hours Saturday and all day Sunday
29 days holiday entitlementKey Responsibilities
Maintain high standards of housekeeping across workshops and outdoor storage areas
Move components and equipment throughout the workshop to support production flow
Operate forklifts, side loaders, and overhead gantry cranes where authorised
Carry out power washing of equipment and support painting/blasting activities as required
Assist with deliveries, collections, and material movements
Ensure production areas remain clean, organised, and safe at all times
Empty waste containers and dispose of materials in line with company procedures
Support machine operators, supervisors, and other departments as required
Complete timesheets and electronic timekeeping records accurately
Promote safe working practices and identify potential health and safety risks
Maintain 5S standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesRequirements
Valid B1 Forklift Licence (essential) from an accredited provider and in date
Previous experience within a workshop, manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment
Ability to carry out manual handling and physical tasks safely
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support multiple departments
Good awareness of health, safety, and housekeeping standards
