Junior Timber Selector / Yardman / Labourer
Location – Cocking
Full Time, Permanent position
Salary – Up to £27500 depending on experience
Shift & Schedule: Mon – Fri 07:45 – 17:00 (Shift starts at 08:00)
Qualifications: Non required (On-site development and training provided)

Role:
General stock / yard activities and selecting quality timber to suit customer order requirements to maximise yield and efficiency.
Responsibilities not limited to:
* To ensure the health and safety oneself and other staff.
* Receive timber deliveries; batch and consolidate customer orders; store timber stock in the correct locations and manner.
* To select the best timber to suit customer orders and EWT requirements.
* To maintain accurate stock records by engaging disciplined stock processes.
* To communicate to the relevant people the necessary information as required.
* Timber fired boiler duties.
* Maintain stock bays in terms of neatness and stock count.
* To serve customers and processing customers’ orders according to their needs and lead times.
Ideal requirements:
* Good work ethic with an eagerness to learn.
* Computer literate.
* Practice Health and Safety in the workplace.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet customer deadlines.
* Self-motivated.
* Valid Driver’s license.
* Telehandler license (not essential)
