Key responsibilities
* Separating and sorting different grades of metal
* Assisting with metal recycling processes
* Yard maintenance tasks including sweeping and dust suppression.
* Complying with all health and safety requirements and complying with site rules at all sites.
* Following a schedule of work in a timely manner.
Essential requirements and experience

Desirable requirements and experience
* Experience in sorting ferrous and non-ferrous metal is desirable, but not essential, full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
* Fork-lift ticket and/or experience is desirable, but not essential.
* A UK drivers’ licence is desirable but not essential.
Work pattern
* Day shift Monday – Friday with overtime opportunities.
* Overtime on Saturday mornings as required
