Job Title: Social Housing Labourer (CSCS & Driver)

Location: Swindon & Surrounding Areas

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Contract Type: Long-Term Contract / Ongoing Opportunity

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Day Shift

Mandatory Requirements: Valid CSCS Card, Full UK Driving Licence, Ability to Drive a Welfare Vehicle

Are you a hardworking, ticketed Labourer with a CSCS card and a Full UK Driving Licence looking for a long-term contract in Swindon

We are urgently recruiting a reliable Labourer / Driver to join a market-leading Tier 1 Contractor delivering major energy efficiency and decarbonisation improvements across social housing properties in the Swindon region.

This is an excellent long-term position working with a top-tier construction firm. In this role, you will carry out general labouring duties on live housing improvement schemes and assist the team by driving the company welfare vehicle between scattered property locations.

Key Responsibilities:

General Site Labouring: Support trades, assist with clearing waste, moving materials, and maintaining clean, safe working environments across occupied housing sites.

Welfare Vehicle Driving: Safely drive the company welfare vehicle between scattered social housing properties to transport team equipment, tools, and welfare facilities across the Swindon patch.

Resident Facing: Maintain a respectful, polite, and professional manner while working around tenants and local residents.

Requirements:

Mandatory Qualifications:

Valid CSCS Card

Full UK Driving Licence (Clean licence preferred, confident driving a welfare van/vehicle)

Experience: Previous experience working as a Labourer within social housing, residential refurbishments, or civil projects.

Attributes: Punctual, reliable, physically fit, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a busy mobile team.
