Description:

Talentmark are recruiting for a  Laboratory Technician to join a small biotechnology company that develop and supply PCR kits, to be based at their site in Harlow, Essex on a permanent basis. The salary on offer is £25,000- £27,000.00

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring laboratory operations are conducted accurately, safely and efficiently.

The role:

Labelling and aliquoting reagents and materials in accordance with written procedures
Washing, preparing and maintaining laboratory glassware and equipment
Preparing buffers, reagents and solutions 
Supporting protein purification and manufacturing processes
Maintaining appropriate stock levels of laboratory consumables
Ensuring laboratory areas remain clean and organised
Completing documentation and maintaining accurate laboratory recordsYour Background:

A degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Science, or a related biological discipline
Demonstrable hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratoryApply:
