Laboratory Technician

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
* Performing laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support Quality Assurance and New Product Development.
* Carrying out routine tasks accurately and precisely.
* Preparing specimens and samples; assembling, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment.
* Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced.
* Recording and interpreting results to present to senior colleagues.
* Using computers and performing simple mathematical calculations.
* Keeping up to date with technical developments.
* Maintain high housekeeping standards.
* Ensure that all assigned work is delivered in a timely manner.
* Communicate with both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
* Excellent team working skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Quality conscious and methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience of working in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
* Ability to effectively and efficiently manage own workload and work to deadlines.
Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters rotation.
Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 Per Annum.
