Are you looking for a Lab Based role? Are you immediately available? Are you highly motivated and proactive?
A successful and expanding contract testing laboratory are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join the team at their site in Hemel Hempstead. The company offer testing and analytical services to the food industry. This will be a temporary role expected to last until the end of September. 37.5 hours per week (10:00-18:00 Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday).
Role Overview
* Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy and well stocked of Lab consumables
* Support with Administrative duties such as sample registration.
* Ensure all work is conducted in line with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and UKAS 17025.
Requirements
* Some Scientific/Laboratory experience or knowledge from an academic or industrial setting would be beneficial, but is not essential
* Strong Team Working skills and the desire to gain some experience in a lab environment.
* Must be immediately available and based a commutable distance from Hemel Hempstead
