Description:

Our client, leading the way in developing next-generation of battery technology is currently seeking a Lab technician who.

The role will have a focus on battery electrode manufacturing- direct experience in this technology isnt required but lab experience will be.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating reel-to-reel scale-up equipment for electrode coating
Preparing, mixing, and characterising electrode slurries and coatings
Conducting routine testing, data collection, and analysis
Summarising findings and presenting technical results to management and engineering teams
Maintaining and updating standard operating procedures, ensuring safe and compliant laboratory practices
Assisting in equipment upkeep, calibration, and supply management

Job Requirements:

Degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline
Hands-on experience working within a scientific or technical laboratory environment
Strong communication, organisational, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving setting
Motivation to learn and develop a wide range of laboratory and process skills
Experience with process scale-up or operation of pilot-scale manufacturing equipment
