Position: Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

Support the Research and Development team in our Test Laboratory.
Work alongside Product Designers, Application Engineers, and the Quality team.
Care and maintain test lab equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Prepare samples for mechanical and environmental testing.
Conduct tests and record results accurately.
Periodically audit and inspect finished products.
Report to the Director of Research and Development.
What You’ll Do:

Plan, set up, and conduct controlled tests and trials.
Develop and manage test procedures and standards.
Document and present results and conclusions to cross-functional teams.
Provide technical support on New Product Development projects.
Manage or liaise with third-party test houses for outsourced testing.
Perform root-cause investigations into quality issues.
What You’ll Bring:

Experience in the manufacturing industry (3+ years preferred).
Experience working in a Test Lab environment.
GCSEs in English, Mathematics, and Sciences or equivalent.
Preferably HNC or BEng Degree in a related discipline.
