Our client, a growing organisation within the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking multiple Lab Assistants to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and play a vital role in supporting the laboratory's operations.

As a Lab Assistant, you will work 38 hours per week on a rotating shift basis between 7 am and 5 pm. The schedule will be divided into three weeks: Week 1 (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday), Week 2 (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), and Week 3 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).

Responsibilities:

Support the laboratory by washing and autoclaving equipment, including pumps, glassware, and other items.
Clean pumps thoroughly, ensuring that they are in optimal condition for use.
Organise and store glassware in their designated areas after cleaning.
Prepare glassware and equipment for the following day's experiments, ensuring they are readily available for use.
Regularly check readings on equipment to ensure they are functioning properly, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.Our client values their employees' hard work and dedication, offering a competitive hourly rate of £13.64. Qualifications:

No previous experience required.
A keen interest in laboratory work and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Must be comfortable with heavy lifting.
