We are actively hiring for a Lab analyst to join a leading Food and Beverage company based in Kent. A Market leader in their sector and currently expanding.
About role
The company is actively seeking a skilled Laboratory Analyst on a 12-month contract bases with a possibility for the role to go permanent. They are seeking an individual who will contribute to their Quality Control Lab team. In this role, you'll be responsible for various essential tasks including sample analysis, chemical management, equipment maintenance, and safety record keeping.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate safety records and data sheets.
• Ensure timely follow-up on analytical results and issue reports.
• Investigate failures and implement corrective actions/troubleshooting investigations as needed.
• Conduct thorough vitamin and mineral analyses.
• Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
• Participate in the development of analytical methods.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of laboratory experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficient in IT. (Microsoft Office suite)
• Experience with wet chemistry, including HPLC analysis and methodology
