Job Description:

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a student's life? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Secondary Home Tutor to provide one-on-one tutoring to secondary school students in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

As a Secondary Home Tutor, you will work closely with individual students to deliver tailored lessons that cater to their specific needs and learning styles. This role offers a unique chance to have a positive impact on a student's academic progress and overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one tutoring to secondary school students in various subjects, including but not limited to Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities.
Assess the student's current level of understanding and create a customized learning plan to address their specific learning needs.
Deliver engaging and effective lessons that help students improve their subject knowledge and academic performance.
Monitor and track the student's progress, adjusting the teaching approach as needed.
Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that boosts the student's confidence and motivation.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and Teaching Personnel to provide updates on the student's progress.
Qualifications:

A degree in education or a relevant subject area..
Previous teaching or tutoring experience, especially in a one-on-one setting.
Full driving license or ability to travel to students homes across Worksoip
Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
A enhanced DBS is requied but support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
