Your Role:
Teach KS3 English: Inspire our students with your knowledge of literature and grammar
Creative Curriculum: Develop lesson plans and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students in Key Stage 3.
Assess student progress regularly through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the English curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns and celebrate achievements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
Specialism in English language and literature, with a strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. (Or willing to obtain one)
