Looking for a full-time teaching assistant job in Worcester? Distinction Education is recruiting a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support primary school pupils with classroom learning, literacy and numeracy.
This long-term role gives you time to understand pupils’ strengths, build positive relationships and see the difference your support makes.
???? The role
Support learning across the KS2 curriculum alongside the class teacher.
Help individuals and small groups develop reading, writing and mathematics skills.
Explain tasks clearly and adapt support under the teacher’s guidance.
Encourage independence, participation and positive behaviour.
Prepare resources and share observations about pupils’ progress.
???? About you
You will have experience supporting primary-aged children, strong communication skills and a positive, reliable approach. Experience in KS2, small-group interventions or SEND support would be valuable. A relevant teaching assistant qualification would be an advantage.
