We are currently recruiting for a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Fulwood, Preston.
Position Details
Role: Year 4 Teaching Assistant
Location: Fulwood, Preston
Start Date: November 2026 or ASAP
Hours: 8:45am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time until July 2026
Pay: Starting from £14.25 per hour, paid weekly
Term Time Only
The Role
The successful candidate will be confident in:
Supporting pupils with English and Maths
Providing targeted academic support and intervention
Working closely with the class teacher to raise attainment
Supporting learning, engagement, and progress within the classroom
Working effectively with pupils across Key Stage 2
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
Have experience supporting pupils across KS2 in a classroom setting
Hold a childcare-related qualification
Be confident supporting children in English and Maths
Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
