Are you a committed and ambitious KS2 teacher with passion and drive to transform outcomes for children? An exciting September opportunity awaits for an experienced teacher looking to work in the heart of Stalyhill!
I am thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to work in Stalyhill within a beautiful school and be a welcome addition to the KS2 department. This is a maternity cover role on a fixed term contract from September - July paying £(Apply online only) per day, depending on your skills and experience.

KS2 Teacher
As the KS2 teacher, you will be familiar with the national curriculum and age-related expectations for this primary phase. You will have strong subject knowledge across all core subjects and be able to demonstrate your creative flair in foundation subjects linking all learning to real life situations!
Key responsibilities will include:
-Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with National curriculum standards for KS2
-Use effective modelling to demonstrate concepts, methods and support children with reasoning and critical thinking skills
-Link learning to real life scenarios, encouraging active participation and collaboration
-Use formative and summative assessment strategies effectively to determine the need for intervention and to address misconceptions and drive progress
-Have a nurturing approach with the class and build strong relationships with children, staff and families
-Be a fantastic team player and liaise well with the classroom TA
-Contribute to all aspects of school life.

Essential Requirements:
-Must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
-Be able to provide 2 recent references that demonstrate excellence in the KS2 setting
-Be subject to an enhanced DBS check
