KS2 Teacher 

Location: Barnet, London
Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
Start Date: 8 September 2026

Teach Now is looking for a skilled KS2 Teacher to join a positive primary school community in Barnet from September.

This is a strong opportunity for a teacher who enjoys the challenge of Key Stage 2: developing confident readers and writers, strengthening mathematical understanding and preparing pupils for increasingly independent learning.

As the KS2 Teacher, you will lead your class with clear expectations while making lessons accessible, engaging and appropriately challenging.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering the KS2 National Curriculum

Planning purposeful and engaging lessons

Using assessment to identify gaps and set appropriate next steps

Supporting pupils with SEND and varying levels of attainment

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and participation

Working effectively with classroom support staff

Contributing to planning and wider school activities

The successful candidate will have:

QTS

Recent KS2 classroom experience in the UK

Strong curriculum and assessment knowledge

Evidence of securing good pupil progress

Confident behaviour-management skills

Excellent organisation and communication

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, within the stated £40,372–£59,864 range.
